Adding backgrounds to SNES9x and MGBA

Hi guys
Im running a vita with fw3.67 and henkaku and vitashell and a few emulators. But the MGBA and snes9x emulators have a boring look with just a black screen in there for the menu.
Does any one know how i can add a background wall paper some how?
I got the live areas done im just looking to add backgrounds to the emus menu.
