It is the best possible way to have all licenses for each character like Vanilla XII but with all the benefits of IZJS/ZA such as the extra Attack/Magick Potents.

Your Shikari/Foebreaker can get all of the licenses of a Bushi/Monk while keeping their old jobs' licenses.
@Aeramis, by the "reset jobs" code, do you mean the "Pick New Jobs" code?

@YabukiJoe, so the way this works is basically use the "Pick New Jobs code for each character, pick another two jobs, max out their boards and then rinse and repeat until you've done this for all jobs and you keep everything you've unlocked on each job? Could you use that code again to get back to the original two jobs you had set or will that empty the board again?

Thanks for any answers.

Am hoping someone can point out what I've been doing wrong in hex editing for many years, as recently as yesterday, but first, many thanks for the codes in this thread. I was attempting to modify the God Mode V2 code because of the "no xp" issue before I saw someone else already had, then realized the fixed version added a Diamond Armlet effect I did not want (bad news for most treasure chests if anything like the PS2 NA version), and finally found the code Rukku made upon special request which does the trick and adds in a nice Thief's Cuff effect. Thanks to all.

But the whole experience reminded me of the many times in the past when I quite simply get different hex values when converting from decimal, and I have never been sure why. Many times I can hex edit without issue whatsoever, and other times I'm completely stumped as to why I get such bizarrely different results. Looking at the skiller spreadsheet for instance, and looking at Rukku's code whcih added into address 00002271 effects 01, 04, 08, 20 and 40, that's 73. When I use converters, though, I consistently get 49. Rulkku's code uses 6D. Isn't 6D, in decimal, 109? Could give many other examples here. And yet on the line that gave me the most trouble because the original God Mode V2 was blocking any xp gain, addresss 00002273 uses effects 8, 10 and 80, for 98, and the code uses what appears to me to be an unconverted 98 unless I'm missing something. I would have converted it and put in 62 as a result, and yet this code works.

I would VERY much appreciate an explanation of why I keep getting this wrong. I know it's a bit more than just converting something for me, but the whole point is that I'd rather not have to bug people to convert things for me now or in the future. Give a man to fish, teach a man to fish and whatnot. I've tried looking for my fault elsewhere and come up empty, which is either a fault in my googling or in my brain/imagination. Either way, I apprecaite any help in advance.

Separately but less of a concern beacuse it's only outright blocked me from doing my own work once, I'd appreciate knowing what the "0x" refers to in something like "0x00002270".

This for me, as well. I, actually, happen to have the text file open that I was using for everything.

So, in my case, say I wanted.

According to Skillers spreadsheet, and what little bit I've read in regards to adding the certain values, 01+04+08+10+20+40+80=163. So. Using an online converter, it converts 163 to A3.

Long story short, I went through all the work of tallying, then converting, to build my own buff list only to find out it was dangerously flawed. So terribly flawed, at that. Death in single hits. Immune to magicks/items, or whatnot, when, oddly enough, I didn't even have things such as Safety or Immune Magicks, intended, on being the effects I was placing on the characters.

That being said, if any would care to explain what went wrong, I'd be happy to listen and learn. But if anyone is also willing to work this out into a code for me, I'd also appreciate it greatly.

Disregard my post above, I got my answer via PM already. Of course if either of the two want to answer the questions any for others to see, that's fine too.
