before i found this site i used all of these

doesnt matter anyway i found the hex for it in advanced mode alittle while after i posted that massage asking about the level 1 code
Mind if I inquire as to what the Offset is for Vaan's Level?

i used a XII save editing guide and it had 23C9 listed as vaans level

I'm surprised no one talked about this. Regarding the "Have party member" codes, the Guests don't seem to work properly. What I mean by it is that you get the party member in your list but you can't add them to your actual team in the open. Larsa for example is a guest character but I can't add Larsa to the team. The game states that I can't remove guest party members but yet I can't add them to begin with. Any ideas for a short add on the team? advanced mode location? etc.

you only have
4 main characters in active slots with no guest character
or
3 main characters in active slots with 1 guest character

3 main characters in active slots with 1 guest that can't be turned on (the guest is definitely in the menu, edit gambits etc. but unable to add to team). Another thing noticed is that I forced a gameover to see what happens if the 3 main characters dies but having the guest up that's not actually in your team. The game gets you locked in the menu asking you to please select a character, yet all of them are KOed. Clicking on the guest will just say "Guest cannot be removed" but the guest is not actually part of your team, they are greyed out.

In short, the actual code worked. The problem is that they can't be added to the team.

Is it safe to update this game to 1.01? I'm still on 1.00 and scare to update it to 1.01?

Yeah. 1.02 just fixes a bug where fighting certain enemies would stall due to a permanent paling.

For anybody willing, the IZJS had several reserve and unused weapons, such as Omega's and Zodiarks weapons, that could be edited in. Would it be possible to make that happen here?

I'm trying to create a code to only insert one specific item. I had sold Great Serpentskin received after the Nidhogg hunt, which I found I needed for a side quest. For advanced mode, I found both the location in the file that sets the quantity, and the value that needs to be inserted into the sort list. Value: 0C 21. List is C5B6-C78B. Quantity is stored at 6F28. I verified this with the max loot code. The max loot code works fine, but I don't want max loot. When I set the values for just this item manually, I don't see it in the list. Am I missing something else that also needs to be set. I did a comparison between the save before and after the max loot code, and there isn't anything else changed, except a value at C9E0. I thought it was a counter for the total number of discrete loot items in inventory, but it doesn't seem to be.
