I have modified the stats of the characters which is pretty easy I had quick codes for it but the update made me lose them. I would suggest setting everyone to like 60 in all stats because you can't escape the Level up screen if you reach max stats before max level. On top of that it does not appear that the stats make any difference until after you level up and add a point into said stat.
