I saw somewhere in the file for the character stats, but my file is too far along with Ability bonus abilities and such to identify the actual amount; have you found the addresses or is it impossible?

I've read that you can't mod your stats and that the game has a "integrity check" for that. But not 100% convinced though.

Is it possible to modify the level of the character to affect the stats, like Birth by Sleep? In that game, the stats are tied to level and the only way to increase the base stats of all the characters is to modify the level past 99; though, when I've done it it was imprecise.

I've tried editing stats, it doesn't stick, it'll load but stats will go back to the "equation" that it calculates off the level like some other FF games.

I'm trying to find base stats etc.

Something interesting, you can have more than 14 Magic Flasks -- I've given myself 99 and tested it and works fine so far.

Video below shows what I've done so far with various info around, does anyone have.. the code format for savewizard? is it the same as AR/GS?

Has anyone been able to find the trigger for having members on your team?

I think there is a way, like with the Aranea glitch, that you can 'activate' each one so you could theoretically have Cor, Inis, Aranea and any other 'team mates' as long as they're active or flagged for being part of the group. I haven't found it yet but I managed to tweak their stats.

Can the weapon damage be modded? So I can get crazy damage on the enemy.

I spent the last day or two messing around with the Comrades multiplayer file in Save Wizard, and with help from xxv's Hex React App (https://bootstraponline.github.io/hex/), I was able to find where all the Battle Items, Key Items, Treasures etc. are listed in Advanced Mode. Credit to xxv and anyone else responsible on Discord and anywhere/everywhere for that app.

So, if you're not comfortable exporting your save, uploading it to the App etc., you can just find the items in Save Wizard and change the quantities to however many you want and go from there. I'll try and give step by step instructions and such with pictures, this is my first post here, so the formatting and such might be all janky, so I apologize in advance.

Once you're in Advanced Mode, you'll want to scroll down near the end of your file, as in this first picture, you can see that the Battle Items (aka The Casual Conversationalists) start at the address 00225AF0.

Image

Now, you can see the 8 digits highlighted in light orange serve as the item ID's for each of The Casual Conversationalists, and the column in light red right next to it serves as the quantity. That's it, so, if you wanted more than one of those (not sure why), you could just change the quantity in hex in the light red column.

A little further down, around 00225EF0, is where the Key Items, like the Well-used daggers, Arms Schematics, Fashion Sketchbooks and the Elemental Stones from the Daily Quests reside.

Image

Again, the 8 digits in light orange are the item ID's and the column in light red is the quantity for each item. You'll see that down at the end of that section, I changed the quantities of 73 61 06 01 (Fire Elemental Stone), 74 61 06 01 (Ice Elemental Stone), 75 61 06 01 (Lightning Elemental Stone) to 49 in Hex (noted by the number 49 being underlined in the Save Wizard Advanced Mode), which turns out to be the value of 73, which you can see highlighted in the next image below.

Image

Now, the big one here is the Treasures, and those start further down from the Battle and Key Items, at 00227F00. Like above, you'll noticed the 8 digits in light orange are the item ID's and the light red column is the quantity.

Image

So thanks to the Hex React App linked above, after uploading my exported save, I clicked on List Items, and it spit out a huge list of all the items I had in my file, which I will post at the bottom of this post.

So let's take the first item highlighted in the picture, 78 C4 05 01, which turns out to be the first item in my Treasures list in the game, which is Metal Scraps. The 0B listed in red after the 78 C4 05 01 is hex for the value of 11, which I actually have that quantity in game. Now, I could change that 0B to 62 in hex, which is the value for 98, if I really wanted 98 Metal Scraps.

So, instead, you could scroll down further down the list and change quantities of all of your treasures, or just a few of them like I preferred to do, items such as Barbed Poison Needles (90 C4 05 01) or a little used item like a Dragon Horn (EC C4 05 01).

Here is the list of everything that I have thus far, it should provide a good start. I noticed the item ID's for the Treasures were different for Comrades than they were in the main game. (UPDATED: 03/08.)

Easy way to find where any of this list is located in your Advanced Mode is to just use the search function, make sure it's set to Hex, and just type in the 8 digit ID at the end of one of these listed items and just go from there.

I'm going to be working on seeing if I can add items to the end of the Treasures section in Advanced Mode and also if I can just replace an ID with a different one once we find more of the missing ID's, since I know I'm missing a fair amount of treasures.

Lastly, if you keep going down further in your file, you'll also come across what the game calls Car Parts, which are any of the hairstyles and tattoos you've purchased, and then the Leisure Items, which would the clothing you have purchased as well.
