Purchased code, but software won't connect?
The program froze after entering the code i received, shut down by itself, and now every time I try to access the program to write the code in again, it says "error occurred while initiating session with server". I've tried running the problem as admin, shutting down all firewalls and antivirus, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, running in various compatibility modes, etc.
I send them a support ticket, but it seems as if theyre off for the weekend.
Any suggestions?

you could try Cleaning your temp file with program like ccleaner so on. i know there was an issue earlier today with the porgram this might have had something to do with that .. but in all like u asked we can only suggest since we are all Unofficial here

Yeah, thats the kind of suggestion I was looking for. It seems like an issue on my end anyway. Thanks! Didn't work, though.Skiller wrote:id say just give little bit .gavincorey97 wrote:The program froze after entering the code i received, shut down by itself, and now every time I try to access the program to write the code in again, it says "error occurred while initiating session with server". Yes. I did system restore and tried again, after installing those two, I got the same critical error. This time, I took down the error message log. Maybe someone here can point me in the right direction from this?lee4_cmp wrote:you have .NET 4.0 and Visual C+ 2013 and 2015 installed ?
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Re: Purchased code, but software won't connect?
I've solved this problem, for anyone else having this issue!
My computer was not installing .net framework correctly as a result of a registry value being off. Here's the steps I found for this issue, copy and pasted:
Steps to resolve the issue:
i.Click Windows button and type 'regedit' in search bar.
ii.Click 'regedit' in search results
iii.Navigate to following registry hive:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer
Check if following registry keys have correct values:
■ MsiExecCA32 should end with \Windows\syswow64\msiexec.exe
■MsiExecCA64 should end with \Windows\system32\msiexec.exe
You may find that the entries are correct but now check the privilages on the key. On mine they were set to read only even though I had admin privilages. Once I changed ownership on the key and made sure the owner had full privilages I was able to install the file downloaded earlier, http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/de ... x?id=17718 After months of trying to install it it finally worked. As a matter of interest, I had run the various tools to clean up previous installations as well as make sure there were no fingerprints from their insalls as well.
Keep in mind that even if you can install .net from other sources, it will install incorrectly if you get error 643 from trying to install via windows update. Thanks for any help!
