RE: CyanogenPSP - PSP EMU Tests and reports

Post by Joel16 » Sat Sep 26, 2015 5:49 am

Hi, thanks for mentioning this on the front page guys. Greatly appreciated :)
Since the most recent builds I delivered to you are somewhat incomplete (The theme manager), I'll release one more experimental build. The theme manager's style cannot be changed back to default, so I'll clean up more bits and release the final PSP and Vita experminetal build. This build will have a fully functional theme manager, that allows you to return to default or choose other themes in real time. Here's a video preview of how it works:

https://youtu.be/Umaq-VdyYVw

You'll notice that the cursor can now be themed, as well as the toggle buttons, other apps etc.

Joel you have something really nice i have to say and people who use psp and ps vita should use this. Just a suggestion but if a video along with the prepped files to have this used with the recent wop ark exploit would likely bring in interests due to fantastic interface!

Thanks haha. I'd love to make a video on it but the thing is, I don't have a vita. So I'm gonna have to rely on hackinformer or someone else for that.

Would anyone with a PSP (Non GO model) like to test for a UMD fix?
Also I'll release one more build that fixes some themeing issues, sometime in the weekend. These aren't really 'public' builds, as the versions will continue as '5.2'. They are just experimental builds that are released to fix any existing bugs. This time I'll make sure to include builds for both PSP and Vita.

Okay here are the latest experimental builds. Take note, these are unofficial, and even though they are 'experimental' they're quite more stable than the latest public release (5.2). Please report any issues if you find any. I want to keep this project as bug free as possible. Also, I won't be updating this project anymore (as I stated earlier). These experimental build won't be going official, they are only released for testing - to keep my code clean, and as developer friendly as possible.

Change-log 5.2X Unofficial 20151004:

Code: Select all

- Introduces the new theme manager.
- Introduces the new icon pack manager.
- Fixes minor font color issue when opening images.
- Includes the new updated and revised recovery menu.
- Fixes PSP model data type.
- Messenger is inaccessible due to it being no where near complete.
- Fixed critical back button bug.

- UMD possibly fixed - needs testing.

Download:

CyanogenPSP - PRO CFW
CyanogenPSP - ME CFW
CyanogenPSP - PS Vita ECFW

You can use the following add-ons below to test how the themes/icon packs work.

I've been experimenting with a bunch of stuff lately. Hoping to catch some vita dev's attention lol. The fonts being used are custom fonts, in case you thought they looked weird.
As always, I try to retain the quality and feel of Android.

Final version is now available for PSP PRO/ME CFW and PS Vita eCFW. It's been exactly 6 months since the last official release, so you can expect a huge change-log :) . If you encounter any critical issues, I'll be happy to provide hot-fixes.
