I'm new to the Vita/PStv modding scene and discovered modding when I found out about whitelisting so I could run the first Hyperdimension Neptunia game. From what I've read on other sites and this forum it seems rolling back the firmware is impossible (unlike the Nintendo Wii) and nobody has hacked 3.63 yet. Is anybody working on it? What goes into developing such a hack? Is there any way to help contribute?

No one is working on 3.63 but we do have ark and vhbl for that FW.

can I install whitelist through those methods?

No not on FW3.63. Now if you did them on lower FW it will still work on FW3.63 but must be done first then update.

crap. I had just gotten a PStv really cheap through groupon and as soon as I turned it on it updated. then when I went to play Neptunia it told me it didn't work. Any chance there will be a new version of whitelist for 3.63 happening any time soon?
