I am still trying to get just basic codes for the Romancing Saga 2 port they did for ps4. Submitted save for it but highly doubt it will get added. Sadly can't add my own codes unless SW has it added to the list. Also as far as the Bioshock collection if the save is not locked for some reason it would only get codes if it was super popular and they received many save files with request.
The more saves that are submitted, the more they pay attention to the requests. Those with levels, every time you go up 2 levels, send a save file. Those with skill points, they like double digital or more. Single digits aren't very helpful when finding the code line.
But then there's the access key. They gotta get around that first. Which, once again, the more saves you send the more it brings it to their attention. And if more than one person is sending more than a couple a day, it will definitely get pushed to the head of the line.
But it's also up to them on if they're gonna put money down on buying the game to do all this too. Like us, they don't get the game for free, and their doing all this as a non profit, pretty much.
Too bad they couldn't hire some of us to help out for free too. I love codebreaking. But I need an access key to get in first. But there are also those games that prove almost impossible. Arcania, for one.
Just keep sending in your saves. It'll get their attention sooner or later.
I thought i read somewhere that they won't add codes for the bioshock collection. Anyone know of that's true?
BioShock has always proven difficult with codebreaking. With bio-encrypted coding, it's hard to find anything at all. And that same coding has 5 or 6 placements withing it. Which you would have to find and change all to just make a simple change in the game.
Thanks to Bethesda Softworks for that crap. That's why you don't see any of their released games on here.
I can remember trying forever with the PS3 Genie and Fallout and Skyrim. I was SO frustrated with the coding after spending at least a week trying to just get $.
So please don't put them down if they don't want to waste their time with that coding.
The worst thing with bio-encrypted coding is that you take one step in the game, and the whole coding changes. So it's really really hard to use saves from multiple people, unless they've walked the same path exactly and have done the same things as the other, exactly.
I stay away from bio-encrypted coding, as a rule now. I'm not spending weeks to find out I can't do crap to the code anyway.

This is definitely true. Making codes for the original 2 were a complete and total nightmare.

Yea I figured when the rep on FB stated trying to program for skyrim/fo was a nightmare. I completely forgot it was made by the same company.

I wont bother sending in saves for it then. Surprising though with how they hand out mod kits that will modify stuff so i figured it would be easy to code for.

Now we'll see if they add a NMS cheat or dragons dogma cheat. Submitted both but don't think either will go through

Oh I know how the show works. My post count may say I am new but this is not my first rodeo. I forget to explain that I only doubt that it will get cheats because imo I consider it a niche jrpg and doubt many people will pick it up to send in save files. I mean I don't really need the cheats because it is emulated and can be played on everything under the sun but none the less still would be cool lol. I think the main reason they avoid hiring outsiders is to avoid trash cheats or online exploitation but again that is just an opinion. All we can do is appreciate what they give us unless something else comes along.

Modding and coding are 2 different things. Modding forces codes into the coding. And is subject to a high amount of failures as well. Coding changes an existing code to what you'd like to see.
