And another thing to help me theorize that with enemies and hunt quest characters, back on Final Fantasy VIII I have successfully added enemies into my party. Raijin, Fujin, Jumbo Cactuar, Bite Bug, etc. Their attack command wasn't a standard attack and had to be found and added to their command list seperately along with any other unique abilities (total of 4) and all enemies could succesffuly use the magic, gf, and draw commands. The standard attack and any other nomral party commands that didn't have the same animation as a cast would "hang". To find enemies, their digits were far above the nothings which came after characters and GFs (which froze in battle).
One more thing to back the possibility of it is Kingdom Hearts 2. Force a character like Cloud or Axel into a party slot and they'll behave exactly as they do when they are helping you,. They won't actively follow you but will seek out any enemies that spawn. They don't appear in the menu and force changing equipment isn't possible. You can even force Sephiroth or a heartless into a party slot and they will simply spawn on each screen behaving like an enemy against your party. Note that was done on a unmodified PS2 with a gameshark.
So forcing an enemy or hunt character in FFXII should theorteically be possible even if they have a blank menu slot. And changing the gambits would be out of the question because they would have the same AI behavior as if you encountered them normally, so an enemy would be a bad idea. But the digits for NPCs tend to be so far above the normal playable characters that I leave it up to anyone else to try to find where they start (double digits for normal characters, 4 digits for npcs), assuming FFXII follows a simliar format to past square enix games. If it is found: Ba'Gamnan will try to kill you, Bangaa Hunter will seek out enemies and wander on it's own when none are present, Monid will follow you, but trail behind you. There's an idea how it would work. Good luck.

or
3 main characters in active slots with 1 guest character
3 main characters in active slots with 1 guest that can't be turned on (the guest is definitely in the menu, edit gambits etc. but unable to add to team). Another thing noticed is that I forced a gameover to see what happens if the 3 main characters dies but having the guest up that's not actually in your team. The game gets you locked in the menu asking you to please select a character, yet all of them are KOed. Clicking on the guest will just say "Guest cannot be removed" but the guest is not actually part of your team, they are greyed out.

In short, the actual code worked. The problem is that they can't be added to the team.
Hi, what I did was add literally everyone save for Amalia. It created three Larsas, but by changing the party order I managed to bring him out and eliminate the duplicates. Then, I saved, quit XII, relaunched, and boom.
It's not a precise art, but it worked for me. Now if we could only have Reks back.
I love you

Does anyone know how I would change these God Mode Codes to Vaan only? I tried to edit the cheats that are already in the save wizard but there's no option to do so. They all start with 4000 which affects the whole party but I only want it to affect Vaan. Would Vaan's address be something like 2000?

Is there a code that makes the bestiary nearly full? It's going to take forever to max it out and I'd rather just use a code to max it out if possible. Heck, maybe a code that makes it all but one short of completion, if possible? Having to fight most of the enemies 6 times is brutal.

Did you try this one? You will not be immune to magic

400601C8 00000000
4000227C 00000080
400601C8 00000000
Huh, tried this and doesn't seem to work for me.

EDIT: Never mind, got it to work.

how did you get it to work? I've tried to paste it in quick codes, and I've never been able to do anything in advanced, no matter how many times I've tried with any game lol
any help would do as to what I'm doing wrong, a screenshot of where the values go would help immensely as well.

i tried putting FD at 2270 i also reversed it at that location. i don't understand what 400601C8 is though and to my understanding, i just put FD at 2270 and 6F at 2271 etc.
To add the code above first

Open SW
Right click the FF12 save you wanna edited
Click on Quick Mode
Then when you get the list of all the QM codes right click any of the codes and you will see ADD CHEAT Click
Next where it says Description pick a name for that cheat " it can be whatever you want"
Then after that go down to where it says CODES next...
Highlight this code
40002270 000000FD
400601C8 00000000
40002271 0000006F
400601C8 00000000
40002273 000000B8
400601C8 00000000
40002274 00000010
400601C8 00000000
40002276 000000EA
400601C8 00000000
4000227C 00000080
400601C8 00000000

And paste it into where it says CODES
like this
Image
Click OK and done

I’m sorry, I should’ve clarified more. I’ve done that, I’ve added quick codes before. But adding these for some reason aren’t working. I’ve tried different saves at different points. So when pasting those quick codes, I don’t get any changes.

So then I tried to go to advanced mode to try myself, and with little knowledge even after looking it up for a few hours. Found the locations I think and still nothing.
To be honest, I couldn't get the code to work either :(

Can someone make codes for each individual characters having max stats on each stat? Also can someone make a god mode code with everything but the diamond armlet treasure thing. Thanks so much.

Is there a code for infinite time to chain Quickenings? I can't for the life of me do Blackhole in time. I tried the "Max Mists" and it doesn't give you infinite mist charges like I thought it would.

EDIT: Read the rest of the thread, I'm probably out of luck then. Infinite charges would work too I guess. I'll try smashing my head against a wall till I end up getting it by luck I guess.

God Mode and the one above God Mode v2 doesn't do anything. I'm dying. My PS4 firmware is at 6.something but the codes are still getting applied, does this matter?

I take it there's no way to stop mist charges from draining or to stop the quickening timer?
