Sorry to join the conversation, but my 3.52 ps vita also have trouble on playing psx eboot (fboot).
All of my homebrew are running fine, but the psx always shows corrupted file even if i use the v2 one.

For the router stuff I can't help you i guess. But to activate the PSTV you will need to have a PS3 that can access PSN anyways.
