Developer's stance on QMO games

I reeeally want to see what is possible with a advance mode and MH:W, however, I understand that it is QMO and that it is what it is. BUT. I was wondering, have the developers ever removed QMO from any of the games available and enabled advanced functionalities?

If not, then so be it. But if they have, do you guys think that there is a possibility that they will enable advanced mode for Monster Hunter? Especially since there is no PvP involved in this game, at least, not to my knowledge.

Advance mode is locked due to co-op; it is the same way for payday 2. For payday 2, you can't edit body bags, med kits, gun damage, and health. According to a code developer for save wizard, the skill points cheat resets everything. I can deal with that and start over on payday 2 if I had max skill points. I asked to unlock advance mode for payday 2 and he said it wasn't his call. It would be much easier if I tried since they have so many games that needs to be added, but it is their choice. Anything that has co-op, expect advance mode to be locked.

Leaderboards sounds like more of a probable cause to disable advanced mode, imo.

But like you said with Payday 2, advance mode could also create a ton of technical issues that are a pain in the ass and/or next to impossible to fix as, they are not the developers of said games in question.

Which brings me to another conclusion, I understand that it is their program and that they are free to do what the please with property but it would be awesome if they could state reasons as to why they enable advanced mode for some games that have co-op and pvp but disable others. I feel like that would ease the mind of a lot of us. You know, they could include another link within the dropdown menu under the grayed advance mode option and label it "QMO?," or something within that nature.

If their reasoning to disable it for most popular games have to do with leaderboards, I can understand that as, if we hackers are in 1st and 2nd for most games, that is definitely going to piss off a lot of regular players, it'll give save wizard a lot of bad exposure than good and it'll prompt Sony to shut crap down.

Well, I mean fudder updates could also be Sony dumping junk data that has piled on their servers for a while.

And I'm not disagreeing with you but maybe there is an algorithm that assigns the PS4 names, and random user input would mess up the algorithm completely. I'm aware of jailbreaking a PS4 gives the ability to change the PS4's name but, and correct me if I'm wrong here, I believe jailbreaking bypasses a lot of code that it considers jargon and utilizes the essentials only to function.

P.S. sorry if my wording is confusing. I work overnight and 2nd job during the day so I'm a little tired.

If a game is QMO because of microtransactions/leaderboard/dlc ur whatever and its in a single line of code maybe SW could read address @ ???????? when the save is uploaded and then after all codes are applied write the value back to address @ ???????? this would make it impossible to mod that address for the user and allow for more games with advanced mode for users and a little less heat for SW..

Yeah, but I think that'll involve tons of decryption and encryption, which is probably a looot of leg work on Save Wizard's end.

I mean, we pay them $50 - $60 for a product that could probably disappear tomorrow (cease and desist from Sony), so the least they could do is grant us users full capabilities of that product.

But I checked out their LinkedIn profile, and I'm pretty sure it's a three man team and only one software engineer, which would explain the lag on a lot of things. And if the process of decrypting/encrypting is as long and tedious I assume it is, we probably see advanced mode for a while on some of the QMO games.
