1. Create a new character.
2. Play until Ward 13, then Save and quit. Important to do this immediately, because you are going to lose everything.
3. Open Save in Advance mode.
4. You're going to edit your weapons that appear on the character select screen. Scroll down until you see this (it will be the first instance of it) *up to the first 4 if multiple characters are equipped with Fists
/Game/Items/Weapons/Human/Melee/Fist/Weapon_Fist.Weapon_Fist_C
5. Overwrite the text with this
/Game/Items/Weapons/Human/Melee/Sword/Weapon_Chronos_Sword.Weapon_Chronos_Sword_C
6. Start the game. It doesn't like this and you'll see you no longer have Fists equipped in your melee slot. Just an X.
7. Load the character. Your character has been reset. You will have all the Adventurer Equipment, including the Blade of Adventure (which is fully upgradable), the Long Gun for each of the 3 classes, the Repeater Pistol, level 0 Vigor and Endurance traits, and 3 Dragon Hearts. Any other equipment, mods, items, materials, traits, or levels you obtained will be lost. You will retain your game progress and key items. The class equipment/mods, if you already had it, will be available in the shop again. Any traits/equipment/mods found in the world will be obtainable again by rerolling your game. Submachine Gun and Elder Knowledge can NOT be reobtained if lost, since you can't reroll Ward 13.
8. Save your game to fix the error you caused in the code for the character's equipment on the character select screen. Your new equipment should display properly and the Hex will correct itself to reflect this.
*Note: If you see /Game/Characters/Player/Base/Character_Master_Player.Character_Master_Player_C then you've scrolled too far and from that point on you're editing your in game characters. This will cause problems the game can't correct, and will require you manually fixing it through the code.
