What's funny (or not so funny) is that when we were asking for Monster Hunter: World to have Advanced Mode over two years ago, the SW guys said they didn't want to unlock it because of what happened with the first Nioh and the fear of Sony taking notice and making a real concerted effort to fully block SW out of existence.

Now, you're saying they went ahead and unlocked Advanced Mode on Nioh 2 and those problems are still happening? What a f'n joke, it's like they didn't learn anything from the first Nioh, and they continue to be incredibly inconsistent on precedents they set with what games get Advanced Mode and what games don't.

Like the user said above, use it while you can, and use it at your own risk as well, and most of all, don't be that guy that goes into other people's games and ruins it for them. Although it's a feeble warning, SW does put up a notice saying "For use in Offline Mode" and such.

Pretty much. I've pleaded for Dragons Dogma to get AM but they won't because they are scared that people will somehow ruin other peoples game when the game itself will corrupt their pawn and remove it from selection if it's altered.

That said, apparently Ninja Theory noticed (or just decided to change their saves cuz they feel like it) and they have since patched the game so any attempts to alter it now (on 1.7) corrupts the save and it's unusable (you can still make edits if you don't update, but then you can't get online) as well as apparently resetting weapons that have absurd stats.

I've read rumors that they've also now since capped particular stats (based on patch notes and dev comments), but for now that's just rumors that nobody will know for sure until after SW gets it working again.

They could of made it qmo yall right but they believe in giving ppl a chance then they lock it but since they patch 1 hit kill it should be fine now

Everything is fine now; Patch 1.07 solved everything. No player can have one shot builds using save wizard because anything modded with high values automatically resets to normal.
