Divinity: Original Sin Advanced mode Issue

Hello and happy holidays!
I've been having an issue anytime I try to edit my quick save from Divinity in advanced mode. It allows me to enter advanced mode and change what I want to edit, but after hitting apply I get an error message that says its not a good save with an error code 10002:d74b-18903291. I know they are legit save because the quick codes work fine with them.
