Daedulus R13 no emulator menu during gameplay

Hi guys
Hopefully this will be my last post for a while.
Im having trouble with daedulus R13. When i start to play a game, i cant get the emulator menu to activate. Ive pressed every button and every button combo i could think of to open the menu but no go.
This means i cant get the save states or options and worse yet i have to exit the emulator by pressing the vitas home button and pulling the page.
I was going to try the daedulusX64R1878 version listed on the easy emulator bubble page but both links go to the same download page gir daedulus R13.
Am i doing something wrong?
