What are my options to make this work?

So about a month ago I purchased a digital only PS Vita game on the Japanese PSN Store. It was released after 3.55 went live, so I assumed I had to update my Primary Vita TV to even access the PSN store to purchase it, but I also assumed the game would work without issue on my Vita TV so did not really care. After I purchase the game, download it, install it I soon find out it is not compatible with the Vita TV and with it now on the latest FirmWare I am S.O.L. Fast forward several weeks I grab another Vita TV from BestBuy and I just opened it today and it has 3.35 firmware installed. So how can I transfer the game from my Primary Vita TV to the Secondary one to attempt the WhiteList hack? Or download it to the Secondary one to attempt the WhiteList hack?

Here is the game:
https://store.playstation.com/#!/ja-jp/ ... 0000000000

Here is what I have:
Vita TV #1 - 3.55 with 64GB Memory Card (the game is already installed on memory card)
Vita TV #2 - 3.35 without Memory Card (need to buy one as the game is 4GB anyway)
PS3 - 4.76 with HDD
PS4 - 3.11 with HDD

Thanks

I think you're SOL, since to download your game directly from PSN on the 3.35 Vita you'd have to tie it to your account, which will need updating, and to even access the store you'll need to update, since VitaUpdateBlocker won't work.

You could however download the game from your PS3, do the OpenCMA cable trick, and then transfer the game from the PS3 to the Vita TV on 3.35. However, You'll then run into the license file problem, since the 3.35 Vita TV isn't tied to your PSN account and you won't have the required license files.

You also may run into the required firmware problem on the 3.35 Vita TV. for example, I bought Corpse Party Blood Drive and it asked me to update to 3.52, which means I lose Rejuvenate. I'll just buy another Vita and keep that one legit.

My advice? sell the 3.55 VTV and get a regular Vita.

I did not even try to connect the 3.35 VTV to the internet yet, but even to just sign into my Japanese PSN account so it is linked (not access anything) it would try and force me to update to 3.55?

You can always try, the Vita will inform you if you need to update. My guess is that if you do get to link the Jap account to your Vita, you could do the OpenCMA cable trick and transfer your game from the PS3, but then there'd be the firmware problem or the trophy sync problem (updating is required to sync trophies.)
I had the trophy sync problem with Muramasa, so i just caved in and bought it physical. Not like I care giving Vanillaware more money, since they make great games anyway.

Use your PS3 to put every thing on your new pstv. Just use vita update blocker to transfer everything to it, so it won't ask you to update. http://hackinformer.com/2015/10/29/tuto ... -firmware/

Also check out our guide too.. http://hackinformer.com/PlayStationGuide/

The game required 3.52 so I had to update to 3.52 and got the game transferred over to the PSTV. Just trying to get the whitelist hack to work and get the game to run.The last step is also confusing it says Restart the PSTV and after that it says Restarting the PSTV removes the patch. Does the game have to be transferred over after the patch is applied?

This is the guide I tried but the game still said "This application cannot be used with this system":

I just restored the PSTV and formatted the Memory Card, will start over again from the beginning,

After starting over from the beginning it still did not work and I was about to give up.
But I noticed when I turn the PSTV off and back on the game icon was missing.
So I copied it back over again from the PS3 and tried it again and this time it worked!

Thank you for your help!
