[Live Area] Custom bubbles of emulated games

Post by shim80 » Sun Oct 16, 2016 2:07 pm

Hello.

Is it possible to make a custom bubble of a GBA/SNES/PS1 emulated game?
If yes, how?
I using HenKaku on ps vita 1000 3.60.

So long as the emulator allows for custom configuration it can be done. You would need to compile it from source code to cater to each bubble you made. It's not an easy task but you need PSDK3v3 notepad++, hexditor, Leecherman's SFO tool, a tool for photos and PNGquantmatrix.

How to?
I already know howto use PSDK3v3 and compile vpk.
But how to extract eboot.bin file? (I can use mgba emulator?)
Or can I make a modified mgba emulator that automatically launches a gba rom?

That the source code edit the ROM path to look inside the ContentID. Once you compile it then instead of looming in the normal spot it will look where you typed it. It's different for each emu and not all allow for this. Those have to be hex edited so there is no AIO guide it is different with each emu. Look at the cfg files and change ROM paths.
