So I'm pretty new to SW, but I've been lurking these forums for the past few days trying to find a fix for this.

Information:
Attempting to hex edit in advanced mode for the game Bloodborne
First hex edit attempt was a success, got x99 Blood Shards
Any attempt to hex edit ANYTHING, even Blood Shards again, results in a "There was an Error while communicating with the server" error.

Have tried:
Deleting the save from the USB and transferring it "fresh" from the PS4
Reformatting USB and then transferring the save again back to the USB
Re-signing the save in SW
re-downloading SW

Nothing works, any reason why this would happen? The "quick mode" worked fine, i've got max echoes, and I was able to just ONCE hex edit without error. Now, I can't apply the edits without getting the error. Thanks guys!

An update with some more information

I am able to edit quantities of items I already have, no server error.

however, whenever I go to modify and change an item into a new one, i get the server error no matter what.

Any ideas on what might cause that?

Wont work on the simplest of things, from changing one badge into another, or "swapping" weapons,

if it is an item I don't have, I cannot add it to my inventory

When you go to start the game after you've modded it, are launching in online or offline mode?

No, not the game.

I am talking about Save Wizard application, after I modify my hex values, about 90% of the time after I click "apply" I get the server connection error.
