In this file:Look at 0x800, there is 33 2E 36 30, which is "3.60" in ANSI. Author suggests to modify it (maybe during download by modifying network package in Charles?) to 33 2E 36 31 which is "3.61" in ANSI.Code: Select all

I wrote a message to the guy. He is german, but I didn't understand a thing.
Maybe this clears up some things: http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?t=36852&p=389232

The op mentions having a half empty battery. If you turn off your vita mid-update it will brick, I think?
I won't guarantee that safe mode fixes it, since I can't find much info on it online.
However, if safe mode works, maybe due to it being bricked, it would let you unbrick it with any firmware?
Edit: These steps do not work. I tested them now.

I think he is trolling us. Look at the OP, not even a single spelling mistake but the grammar is so damn poor. How is it possible?
