Risk of bans for resigning saves?

Of course I am not talking about the typical single player game. I am however talking about games where the single player and multiplayer modes are 100% integrated like Ghost Recon: Wildlands for example..

Modding/Manipulating or using someone save could all lead to some kinda of issue..

big time if the game is online and has online server checks
