MysticZangetsu all four save are in Galaxy mode and only one is a starter save

Load them in game the description in the ps4 save transfer will read what the original save read until you load and save it again I don’t have photos but I loaded them earlier on my ps4 and they were all 4 difficulty levels

i tried loading them up as well and they all came in on galaxy mode.

I got it to work. I had to update my system file but its all 4 difficulties

Yessir! give me a moment. the loads have all four difficulties but if i go to the main menu Chaos difficulty is still locked so I cant start a new game on the hardest difficulty. I want to make sure that even though it says "Chaos" or "Universe" that it wont revert to galaxy if you dont have an end game save file for the corresponding difficulty.

okay so this is how I got his saves to work..

Read the whole thing before doing any of the steps so you don't miss anything on accident.

1. Once you download the folder extract it while it is still in the downloads file location.

2. Go into your SW and import all the files from the extracted CUSA09845 folder in your downloads tab

3. open two different windows; One for your USB and another with your downloads tab

4. Copy the ENTIRE CUSA09845 extracted folder to your USB however dont just replace the saves you already have.

4A. Right click on the EXTRACTED "CUSA09845" file in your downloads tab

4B. Go into your USB folder with your save. The folders might be set up different but mine looks like "Computer > Removable Disk > PS$ > SAVEDATA > ( YOUR PSN ID #) > CUSA09485 (Which is the Star Ocean game file)

4C. Click to open the CUSA09845 folder in your USB. inside the folder should be all your save files that you have for that game. instead of replacing just the save files right click inside and copy the ENTIRE EXTRACTED CUSA09845 folder from the downloads page into your usb folder so you have two save game folders.

Your menu folders at the top of the window should look like this now:

"Computer > Removable Disk > PS$ > SAVEDATA > ( YOUR PSN ID #) > CUSA09485 > CUSA09485

5. Plug the USB into your PS4 and transfer the files. Im sure you all already know this but make sure you upload the saves on your PS4 to the cloud because once you import them from the USB it will overwrite the data on saves 1-4

6. When you go to copy them all the files will say "Galaxy Mode"... load them anyway.

7. Open Star Ocean and go to Load Game. The first 4 saves should now be on earth - Chaos (respectively)

I have loaded up both Universe and Chaos saves, saved the game again in the same slot, and closed the application out completely so see if they would revert back to Galaxy Mode but so far they still say that they are on Universe and Chaos!

Side note even with the saves you cannot start a completely new game on Chaos Mode because you need a clear game save from Universe. However, it seems that as long as the system file said Chaos or Universe in the save game file it should still be okay. You might want to do some battle tests to make sure that it is actually on that difficulty and the text wasnt just edited to say it is on a different difficulty when you are actually still on Galaxy ( I looked around and some PC people have been having that problem with the game saves)

I tried to add pictures to this post but it keeps telling me that the image limit has been reached for this bulliten and i dont know how to load them up another way.

Hope it still helps and let me know if you need any more clarification

EDIT NOTE !: For the Battle Trophies Edge is at 100% but Reimi is at 99% with the BT "Win whthout moving" as the only missing battle trophy(BT#01). I do not know if she is the only one that is not 100% yet because I have not gotten any aditional characters so just keep that in mind if you are wanting the BT % trophies for Playstation. I would recommend making a copy of your system data on the cloud as well as on the USB before playing on these saves because it will overwrite the system data you have and if you play on these save games and then go back to your original save it will put Reimi at 100% if you have this trophy on your walktrough. Additionally if you have to reload your system data to revert the battle trophies keep in mind that you might have to re download the save games from the USB in case it compiles the BT list when you do decide to play on the higher difficulties.

im glad i could help!

I think with this save you should be able to get the 100% battle trophy cause Reimi is only missing 1 but i dont know if they stack so if you are trying to get the Plat make sure you keep a copy of your old system save data separate just in case it compiles the BTs from your other saves... if you dont care about that then enjoy!!! Let me know if only the last trophy pops after getting her "win without moving" BT or if they stack and all pop

first bug in galaxy it has 292 hp

in universe 380 hp

so yes the difficulty are real wow
